After months of work behind the scenes the Canadian Agricultural Human Resources Council has been officially launched.

The organization's interim board of directors is comprised of 18 farm groups from around the country, including Keystone Agricultural Producers.

Executive Director Danielle Vinette says the Council's madate is to identify and develop innovative solutions to issues of human resources development, management and employment.

The Council has already held its first meeting where two working groups were established.

One will deal with recruitment and retention, while the other will focus on skills and training.
