An independent review of the Canadian Wheat Board's director election practices is probably collecting dust somewhere in Ottawa.

Keystone Agricultural Producers President David Rolfe was on the panel.

He has heard nothing since it was handed over to the previous Liberal government in December 2005.

He adds the bigger issue is when the ag minister holds a plebscite on the future of the Board, the voters list must be cleaned up.

Rolfe says, as it stands currently, just over 40% of the voters list is comprised of parties that do not directly market grain through the C.W.B.

He stresses it's important for the list to be cleaned up so only those producers who are directly impacted by the future of the wheat board are the ones who make the decision of whether change is necessary.
