Once again Monsanto Canada will be giving students the chance to cut their post secondary tuition bill by $1,500.

The company is offering its opportunity scholarship program to those entering their first year of agricultural or forestry studies.

Spokesperson Trish Jordan explains to be eligible for a $1,500 scholarship students must be entering their first year of agricultural or forestry studies at a post secondary institution.

Also, they must submit an application, including an essay outlining their vision for the future of agriculture no later than July 14th.

Students must have deomnstrated academic excellence, leadership capabilities, and a keen interest and involvement in their rural community.
