Water consumption levels are at an all-time high in the Pembina Valley.

Pembina Valley Water Co-op CEO Sam Schellenberg says their plants in Morris, Stephenfield and Letellier are under serious pressure trying to meet the demand.

They have already made some requests for communities to cut back on water consumption, by tomorrow the request may be region wide.

Schellenberg says common sense should prevail when using water.

He asks people to abstain from watering their lawns and washing vehicles for the time being.
