Everything from property tax, tennis courts, business development, and barking dogs were topics at the Plum Coulee all candidates forum last night.

Robert Lundy is one of three people seeking the position of mayor.

He feels businesses are key to the community regardless of whether they are large or small, they need to be there.

Lundy feels a seniors complex would also be a real asset to the community.

Archie Heinrichs is also running for mayor.

He is a strong advocate for the Sunbelt Development Group that works strongly with the R.M. of Rhineland, and the towns of Altona and Gretna.

Heinrichs also feels the development of the industrial park is key when attracting entrepreneurs.

Bernice Dyck would like to develop a five year plan for the town.

She stresses community involvement is important in making this plan succeed.

Dyck adds if one business were to come to town so people could stay and work here, they would spend their money here.
