Manitoba Hydro crews are making emergency repairs in Winkler's industrial area today.

Outages are planned for approximately 40 customers in the industrial park while repairs to a pair of damaged hydro poles take place.

Manitoba Hydro Media Relations Riley McDonald says they've contacted all affected businesses, adding the outage will last from 2:00 p.m to 7:00 p.m. Friday. He notes the lines were damaged when a forklift contacted overhead MTS lines.
