Officials with the Central Regional Health Authority are on the ready for any glitches that may occur to their medical equipment or computers systems.

Health Canada is warning the new early start to daylight savings time could cause some equipment failures.

R.H.A. Spokesperson Kristine Hannah says their I.T. staff is checking all computer related equipment.

She says Brandon Bio-Med is reviewing all medical devices, especially in the operating rooms, emergency rooms and intensive care units to ensure safety.

Hannah says the R.H.A. is not expecting any problems.
