Pembina Valley RCMP are looking for the public's help in solving a rash of vehicle thefts that took place early Thursday morning.

According to police, the vehicles were all stolen consecutively in a matter of five hours - between 2 a.m.and 7 a.m. - from the rural municipalities of Roland, Stanley and Rhineland. Several of the stolen vehicles have since been recovered, along with other property that does not belong to the victims.

Investigation into the rash of thefts continues, and anyone with information is asked to come forward. As well, police are asking anyone who believes some of the recovered stolen property may be theirs to contact the Morden or Carman detachments.

Additionally, police are reminding the public to be vigilant and is asking that residents take proactive steps to prevent theft and property related offences by ensuring vehicles are locked with keys removed, properties are well lit and to report any suspicious activity.
