The Red River is cresting between St. Jean and St. Adolphe.

The river was near its crest at Letellier and St. Jean on Sunday.

At Morris, the river it is expected to top out at 773.6 feet, which is at least five feet below 2011 levels. Water levels are expected to remain there for a few days.

The province says Highway 75 will stay open north of Morris.

Flood forecasters also say that the rain which is in the forecast this week is not expected to cause any problems as far as water levels are concerned.

Crews are running pumping operations to facilitate internal drainage inside community ring dikes at Emerson, Letellier, Dominion City, St. Jean, Morris, St. Adolphe and Rosenort.
