More comfortable and brighter.

That's what sledders will notice while warming up in the shelters in the southeast.

Harold Kihn, president of the Southeast Snoriders Club, tells us two shelters are being upgraded right now.

Volunteers are also hard at work preparing trails for sledding.

He hopes snowmobile enthusiasts will be respectful of private property surrounding many of the trails.

In the past, the club has lost some trails due to snow machines straying from the groomed trails and wrecking private land.
