So what are you going to do with that oversized pumpkin in your garden?

Your best bet is to enter it in the weigh-off at the annual Roland Pumpkin Fair tomorrow.

Chair Arthur Cameron says despite the horrible weather this summer, he's hopeful they will have about 25 entries in the always popular pumpkin weigh-off.

He adds the Fair is unique in Manitoba, and there's just something about growing giant pumpkins that attracts people.

Cameron notes it's a worldwide phenomenon right now with weigh-offs taking place around the globe.

The 2008 weigh-off winner was Ed Raflant of Stonewall who brought in a pumpkin that tipped the scales at just over 1,134.5 pounds.

There's also the vegetable weigh-off, unique vegetable display, entertainment, and Pumpkin Patch Tea Room.
