The Winkler Royals are Baseball Manitoba Provincial 15U AA champions.

One week after the Winkler Nationals won the Provincial 15U A championship in Swan River, the Royals went undefeated in Hamiota this past weekend capping off a perfect season.

The South Central champs, who went 16-0 in 2022, downed the host Red Sox 8-3 in the gold medal game.

The Royals reeled off four straight wins in the round robin.

Winkler defeated St. James 25-3; downed Reston 19-1; doubled Steinbach 12-6 and edged Charleswood 7-6.

The Royals then blanked Steinbach 7-0 to earn a berth in the final.
