Upon his arrest, police learned the man had several warrants from other provinces.
He has since been charged with two counts each of Flight from Police and Possession of Stolen Property Obtained by Crime, and three counts of Resisting Arrest/Failing to Comply. He was remanded into custody.

According to Manitoba RCMP, officers from the Manitou detachment were called to the B&E on Main Street in St. Leon shortly before 5 p.m. on Thursday. Once there, they were immediately able to locate the suspect vehicle, which fled. Officers followed, but only as far as it was safe to do so.
