This past weekend on Made in Manitoba we previewed our upcoming 65th Anniversary concert, happening this Thursday, 16th at Altona Park, by sharing music and past conversations with the groups playing.
Lindsay Rae, and her husband Joey, on stage known as L Rae & J, are one of the three groups. Lindsay stopped by the studio to talk about their sound, and what it’s like to perform with your significant other on stage.
The evening will be filled with family fun, free food and music… as well as a special appearance by A Country Princess, a new venture by Lindsay! We asked her to tell us all about A Country Princess, and the special appearance she will be making during our 65th anniversary concert.
Also taking the stage are Brothers Keep and past Made in Manitoba guests The Stanley County Cut-ups. The concert is FREE, bring your lawn chairs and join us as we get started at 6pm Thursday night. Plus, a free hot dog dinner courtesy of Altona IGA and prepared by Altona YFC/The Station which will be ready for your family to enjoy starting at 5pm.
