Welcome to our weekly spotlight on musical talent in our province, Made in Manitoba! And this weekend, it's another debut, kind of. Joining us is the Altona and Winkler based Silas Presley Band. As a group, they are here for the first time. 

The namesake of the group, Silas Presley, was part of our Christmas Cafe last December, and since then, along with his bandmates, has crafted their debut album “Transcendent”… and the sound certainly hearkens back to the 60s and 70s.

The band consists of the 19-year-old singer-songwriter Silas Presley on lead guitar and vocals, his father Big Robbie G on bass guitar, Jack Penner on drums and Simon Delmont playing keyboard.

The group's message is all about peace, love and unity through music, and those themes are reflected throughout the songs on "Transcendent". Have a listen to our conversation with the Silas Presley Band, and their music, below.
