Central R.H.A. is showing a healthy bottom line through the 1st quarter of its fiscal year.

The R.H.A. is showing a surplus of $100,000 for the first three months.

Chief Financial Officer Ken Klassen says an increase in provincial funding and a slight decrease in expenditures are behind the positive performance.

Klassen says it's too early to tell if the 1st quarter is an indicator of things to come.

He says while expenditures are down slightly, that can change quickly if there is a significant increase in services.
