Zach Nicolas, Connor Jensen, Mike Svenson and Kyle Crewe scored second period power play goals in the Winkler Flyers 8-0 victory over the Winnipeg Freeze. Daniel Isaak, Nicholas McKee, Brody Beauchemin and Carter Dittmer also scored for the Flyers. Malachi Klassen stopped 15 shots in recording the shutout.


Cohen Pilkington had a hat trick and Raiden LeGall made 19 saves as Pembina Valley defeated the Norman Northstars 5-1. Kam Thomas and Ty Love also found the back of the net for the Hawks who scored four times in the third period.


Justin Tremblay had a goal and an assist and Mason Swerdyliak made 39 saves as the Ile des Chenes Northstars blanked the Winkler Royals 4-0. Matthew Osadick, Riley Beauchemin and Tyler Swerdyliak also scored for the Northstars.


Brett Hyland, Nolan Ritchie and Jake Chiasson all scored in the shootout as the Brandon Wheat Kings wrapped up their four-game homestand with a 3-2 victory over the Red Deer Rebels. Nate Danielson and Andrei Malyavin scored in regulation for the Wheat Kings who begin a five-game road trip Saturday when they meet the Western Hockey League’s East Division leading Ice in Winnipeg.
