St. John Ambulance is looking for a few good pet owners in the Morris area. The organization wants to expand its base of theapy dog owners in Manitoba and will be holding an information session in Morris in early June. Spokesperson Christina Kaskiw says, under the program, pet owners share their dogs with people in hospitals, seniors homes and other facilities in an effort to raise their spirits.

There are about 200 therapy dog volunteers in Manitoba.

The information session in Morris will be held at the Red River Valley Lodge on Saturday, June 5th beginning at 10am.
