Kornelius Herman Neufeld arrived in Winkler, MB, in November 1923 with his wife, Susanna, an infant daughter Susie and a degree in civil engineering from Moscow University. After university KH, as he became known in Canada, moved to the South Russia, where he spent a year teaching and then became chief engineer at a large manufacturing operation. But it was music, not engineering, that stirred his heart.

On this week’s episode of Still Speaking, Conrad Stoesz from the Mennonite Heritage Archives in Winnipeg is back in the hosting chair and shares the life and legacy of “The Wandering Conductor” KH Neufeld.

You can listen to Still Speaking Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays at 12:40pm
