The Super Walk for Parkinson's will once again be held in Morden this Saturday.

Funds raised from next weekends event will support Parkinson's programs and research across the country.

Spokesperson Lenore Laverty says they don't really have a financial goal in mind.

However, she says says this year they hope to raise over $14,500, which was last years total.

Laverty says Morden was the first community in Manitoba outside Winnipeg to host the event, and since then, several other communities have followed suit.

She says in their first year they raised over $12,500, which was one third of the total raised in the city.
