The new Tabor Home project in Morden was once again on the receiving end of some very generous pipeliners.

Clinton Harris is the Superintendent for Ledcor Pipelines and says this project hits close to home for him. He says in his home community of Lethbridge, there is a large retirement community, and he knows just how important it is to the community there. He says, when he came to Morden and saw the need for it here, he was very much on board to help them out in whatever way they could.

At a cheque presentation yesterday the employees of Ledcor Pipelines gave a cheque in the amount of 16-hundred dollars to the project. Tabor Home Fund Raising Committee Chair Wayne Kroetsch    says this second donation from the pipeliners is very much appreciated.

"We feel great. We feel that when we have a group of workers in our community who see the need in our community and step forward to give us donations for our cause, then we can be nothing but positive."

At the cheque presentation, Kroetsch took the opportunity to comment on the delay in construction for the Tabor Home project which was announced by Health Minister Erin Selby earlier this month.

This was the 2nd donation of this kind from Ledcor to the Tabor Home project. To date, the company has give over $4,500 to the New Tabor Home.
