As of 7:15pm Environment Canada ended the Tornado Watch for the Morden-Winkler-Morris-Altona-Emerson region, as well as all of Southesatern Manitoba.

Severe Thunderstorm Watches remain in place across the Pembina and Red River Valleys, as well as Southeastern Manitoba. According to CMOS Accredited Weathercaster Chris Sumner, those Watches will most likely be in place into the early morning hours of Monday.

"Conditions are still prime for severe thunderstorm development across the region, that hasn't changed," explained Sumner. "All that's changed is the conditions for tornado development have reduced. With that said, there is still a lingering possibility of a storm producing one, but realtively speaking compared to earlier this evening, it's not as big of a possibility.

As storms crossed over the U.S. border from North Dakota Severe Thunderstorm Warnings have started to pop up along and east of the Red River. You can get the latest Watches/Warnings here.

"There is still a lot of potential for significant severe weather this evening," stressed Sumner. "We are barely at the starting point, with another round of storms expected late tonight/overnight."
