The 26th annual Morden International Triathlon happens this weekend at Colert Beach.

Hank Unrau is the organizer for the kids of steel and Try-a-Tri events on Sunday.

He says the Morden Triathlon is the longest running Triathlon in Canada.

He adds organizers are preparing for hot weather.

He says they will have plenty of liquids available for participants.

However the athletes may have to reconsider their goals if the temperatures are high.

The competition got underway at 7am this morning.
