Water levels have stabilized in the R.M. of Dufferin, and officials say some spots are going down.

"Hopefully the weather will cooperate in the coming days, so we can put this period behind us," stated an update emailed to PembinaValleyOnline.

As well, some evacuees have been able to return to their homes.

The R.M. of Dufferin continues to have water over roadways and will have closed roads for a little while longer. Motorists are cautioned to continue watching for road closures signs and not to remove or go around any barricades.
