Winter has returned to the Pembina Valley.

A Low pressure system moving in through the Dakota's has dumped 5cm of snow on us already with more on the way.


Environment Canada says another 10 to 20 cm of snow is possible.


Freezing rain has been reported in Grand Forks and is expected to reach Emerson sometime this morning, and then move northeast from there.


The snow is expected to end tomorrow.


One motorist has let us know that PR 201 and Highways 3, 14 and 32 are snow packed and slippery.


Highways crews are out this morning.
