Manitoba Agriculture Food and Rural Initiatives is hosting two workshops in the area.

The presentations are a part of Small Business Week.


The Altona Chamber of Commerce along with Altona Community Development Corporation will hold a starting a small business workshop in Altona.


The event will have local and government speakers on how to start a small business and discuss financing options.


The second workshop is a Government of Canada and Province of Manitoba initiative and is being put on by Trade Team Manitoba.


The workshop will address things like why and how to go international with exporting and how to find interested markets.


The Trade Team Manitoba exporting workshop will be held in Winkler.
