Morden woman arrested, charged as part of Thompson drug and weapon seizure
A 33 year old Morden woman, along with three others, was arrested as part of a drugs and weapons seizure Wednesday in Thompson. According to RCMP, the Thompson general investigation section and Northern Crime Reduction Enforcement Support Team (CREST) executed a search warrant at a Brandon Crescent residence in the community. Investigators found, and seized, approximately 40 grams of crack and cocaine, a prohibited firearm, sawed-off shotgun and approximately $5,000 cash. All four suspects were arrested at the scene: Noah Thomas, 24, of Leaf Rapids Preston Hunter, 31, of Thompson Felicia Graves, 47, of Thompson Mary Baker, 33, of Morden Related Stories: Altona man charged following assault and threats Winkler police link two Main Street crashes to street racing The suspects have been charged with a variety of offences including possession of drugs for the purpose of trafficking, possession of property obtained by crime and firearms offences. As of the RCMP issuing the news release Thursday afternoon, all four remained in custody.
