Altona police are investigating two thefts out of Plum Coulee. Last week Tuesday, officers were called to the local co-op for a complaint of a stolen flat deck trailer. According to police, the victim had parked the trailer in the back lot the previous weekend, and when he went to pick it up, it was gone. Video of the suspect vehicle has been turned over to the authorities. Four days later, police were called to a home in the community after someone reported their truck stolen. According to the report, the truck, a black 2002 Chevrolet Duramax with a red tailgate, was stolen off the driveway during the night.
