Carman Dufferin Fire Department was called out early Saturday morning to reports of a structure fire in the R.M. of Dufferin. The report came in around 2:16 a.m, with the caller stating they could see flames coming from a mobile home. Crews arrived, and were able to knock down the fire from the outside, before making entry into the building. The building was vacant, and not being lived in at the time of the fire. Firefighters remained on scene for several hours to ensure the fire was extinguished. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
