Paddlefest was held this past Saturday, on June 17, at Lake Minnewasta near Morden. Even though the sun wasn’t shining and it wasn’t the hottest outside, people still came out to enjoy a great day on the lake with their family and friends.

The Manitoba Paddling Association came all the way from Winnipeg to hold clinics from 1-4pm at Lake Minnewasta. There were paddleboats, canoes, kayaks, and dragon boat clinics which were all 45 minutes long and looked like so much to be a part of.

There were food vendors available as well so in case you got the munchies after paddling or swimming you had something available to eat.

Even though it was pretty chilly outside and I was wearing a jacket the whole time, brave young souls still decided to go for a little dip in the water.
