This past Sunday, June 25, I was able to attend the last day of the Thousand Oaks Gospel Camp. It was a gorgeous, sunny day with only the tiniest bit of rainfall for a few minutes. It was a nice change after the dreary weather we had the past few days.

Many people came out to enjoy some great gospel music and the warm weather, and to support local groups as well as not so local groups.

On Sunday, groups such as the Backwoods Gospel, Redeemed Quartet, Livings waters and many other groups and musicians performed. Throughout the whole weekend groups as far as Prespatou, BC, and Millbank, Ontario came out to perform at the music festival, making it a great time for everyone.

Sunday was also the first day where I had the Celebrate Summer Lockbox out for people to try to open and win a prize. We had three winners in the span of two hours! So if you couldn’t make it out to Thousand Oaks, listen to CFAM or go to the Celebrate Summer calendar to find out where I will be next so you can try to open the box yourself.
