The Annual Manitoba Stampede and Exhibition was held in Morris this past weekend. It was a very exciting weekend with lots of things to do and see. There were bands playing throughout the entire weekend, the midway was open every day, and a rodeo was held every day as well.

New to the Stampede this year, was the Indigenous Village Cultural Display. It displayed lots of cool tools, and history of Canada which people often tend to forget about.

The kid’s zone, or the Ag-tivity Ranch, was also a great place to be this weekend if you had a kid, or were a kid. There were a bunch of cool games and there was even an opportunity to experience virtual reality, which people loved.

The parade was also a blast with a bunch of cool floats, performers, and candy being thrown out. There was even a small fiddle band playing on a handmade float with real trees, a wooden wagon, and other things to make it look like it came from the 1800s.

Even though there was rain periodically throughout the weekend, the Stampede was still a hit.
