The Canadian Foodgrains Bank is known around the world for assisting those facing the aftermath of a disaster and food shortages.

Executive Director Jim Cornelius was in Haiti Friday getting a firsthand look at the agency's work in the country after the category 4 Hurricane Matthew impacted the island last October.

Farm Broadcaster Cory Knutt caught up with Jim to get the details on why he was there, and what help the Foodgrains Bank is delivering.

We also asked Jim to talk about the work currently underway.
