The Brandon Bobcats men's volleyball team played an intrasquad match Tuesday night at Carman Collegiate.

It was a homecoming for Bobcats third year middle hitter Mason Metcalf who helped the Cougars win a Provincial High School double A Volleyball Championship banner in his grade 12 year. Mason's brother Rylan is starting his freshman year at the University of Regina, and is playing volleyball in Saskatchewan.

Our own Clayton Dreger took in BU's intrasquad match, and asked Mason & Rylan's mom Jacquie, who teaches at Carman Collegiate and coached both her sons in high school, what it was like to see her oldest back in his high school gym...

That was Jacquie Metcalf whose son Mason represented Canada at the 2017 World University Games in Taipei and her other son Rylan, who was named the MHSAA's Male Athlete of the Year this past June, played for Team Manitoba at the 2017 Canada Summer Games.
