The Miller Aces captured the Neepawa Tigers Slashers High School Hockey Tournament Saturday at the Yellowhead Centre.

Kirby Sawatzky had two goals and an assist and Colton Harder had a goal and three helpers as the Aces defeated Northlands Parkway Collegiate 6-3 in the final.

Andrew Dyck, Braden Hildebrand and Ryan Smiley also scored for Miller.

Carter Wall, Lucas Dyck and Dustin Wall replied for the Nighthawks.

Sawatzky finished the weekend with six goals and five assists.

The Aces won a pair of games on Friday.

Bryson Loewen scored twice and Declan Enns made eight saves as Miller shutout the McCreary Mountaineers 8-0 and Cole Parago had a pair of goals in the Aces 7-2 victory over the Hamiota Huskies in the semifinals.
