Braden Billaney of the Winkler Flyers has been named this week’s MJHL Player of the Week.

Billaney, 18, showed off his playmaking skills, reflected in seven points (1-6) in four games.

The product of Boissevain was selected a game star in two of those games.

Flyers are currently riding a three-game winning streak thanks to strong play from players like Billaney.

The runners up are 18 year old forward Connor Barley of the Selkirk Steelers and 19 year old goaltender Brett Epp of the OCN Blizzard.

The Flyers next game is against the first place Steinbach Pistons Wednesday night in Winkler with puck drop at 7:30 p.m. at the Winkler Recreation Complex.
