Toni Conrad has been selected as player of the week for the Manitoba Female Midget Hockey League.

Conrad, from the Pembina Valley Hawks, is in her final year in the league and has proven to be an offensive threat all regular season and showed that in the first round of playoffs. Conrad started the playoffs chipping in two assists in the Hawks 3-1 win in game one.

She didn't get on the game sheet in game two but continued with her aggressive forecheck and strong defence. In game three, Cronrad put up two goals and got an assist in the game-winning goal which helped the Hawks close out the best of five series in three games.

Conrad begins the playoffs with 2 goals and 3 assists.
