The Carman Cougars are Provincial A/AA Junior Varsity boys basketball champions for the second year in a row.

The Cougars defeated the Gimli Lakers 63-54 in the championship game Saturday in Treherne.

Carman beat the Oscar Lathlin Wolverines 86-38 in the quarterfinals and downed the Niverville Panthers 78-37 in the semifinals.

Cougars forward Anthony Buecker was chosen the MVP of the provincials while Carman guard Scott Atkins was named to the All-Star team.
