The Toronto Maple Leafs have dealt Eric Fehr to the San Jose Sharks for a seventh round draft pick in 2020.

Fehr appeared in four games this season with the Leafs.

He was loaned to the San Diego Gulls of the American Hockey League on November 7th.

The 32-year-old Winkler native has 17 goals and 11 assists in 34 games with the Gulls.

Fehr was selected by the Washington Capitals in the first round (18th overall) of the 2003 NHL Entry Draft.

The former Brandon Wheat Kings forward signed as a free agent with Pittsburgh in 2015 and won the Stanley Cup with the Penguins in the spring of 2016.

Fehr, Steven Oleksy and a fourth round pick were traded to Toronto at the 2017 NHL trade deadline for defenseman Frank Corrado.
