Earlier this week the Manitoba Female Midget Hockey League (MFMHL) announced Pembina Valley Hawks net-minder Halle Oswald was named the leagues goaltender of the month for November.

This is her second year with the Hawks, and has posted a 9-0 record in the MFMHL and was 3 and 0 in November helping the hawks sit in first place.

Oswald, who is from Sanford, has a 0.99 goals against average and a save percentage of .955 this month and for the season the Hawks are 14-4-2.

She has shown she is an elite goalie in the MFMHL and has the ability to keep the Hawks in and steal games for her team.

This past season Oswald was one of the goalies at Hockey Manitoba's Program of Excellence Top 40 Camp.
