The fields of 16 are set for the 2019 Provincial Junior Curling Championships which will be held at the Heather Curling Club in Winnipeg from January 3rd - 7th.

Thomas Titchkosky of Morden and Hayley Bergman of Morris will represent South region after winning their respective spots at the Miami Curling Club this past weekend.

Titchkosky, along with third Rylan Didkowski, second Kelby Carson and lead Owen Storey, faced Jayden Rutter of the Morris Curling Club.

The Morden foursome lost the opener 8-3 and then won 4-3 and 8-7 in an extra end to qualify for the provincials.

Bergman, third Anastasia Ginters, second Payton Bergman and lead Janae Zacharias faced Cheyenne Ehnes of Manitou.

The Morris foursome won the first game 12-4; lost the second game 6-5 and won the deciding third game 7-3.

Rounding out the Junior Women's field are Mackenzie Zacharias & Meghan Walter of Elmwood; Shae Bevan, Arah Davies, Grace Beaudry & Victoria Beaudry of St. Vital; Emma Jensen & Makenna Hadway of Dauphin; Cassandra Stobb, Alex Friesen & Talyia Tober of Assiniboine Memorial; Serena Gray-Withers of the Granite; Katy Lukowich of East St. Paul; Presley Sagert of Swan River and Stacy Sime of Brandon.

The Junior Men's field includes Titchkosky, J.T. Ryan & Josh Friesen of Assiniboine Memorial; Ryan Wiebe, Jordan McDonald& Ghislain Courcelles of St. Vital; Brayden Payette & Marc Vachon of Brandon; Carter Watkins of Fort Rouge; Jack Hykaway of Fort Garry; Zachary Wasylik of Charleswood; Brett Walter of Elmwood; Josh Maisey of Winnipeg Beach; Thomas Dunlop of East St. Paul, Tyson Beyak of Winnipegosis and Carter Williamson of Dauphin.

Shae Bevan & J.T. Ryan are the defending champions.
