This past weekend at the Norberr-Glenl ee CC. in Winnipeg was the host for a Pickle Ball Tournament.

"We had the MB mens' champions and a national silver medalist in the tournament as well as intermediate and a few lower level players," said Steve Meszaros, who was one of the event organizers. "Most were 3.5 or better. There were three events, Mens' doubles, ladies doubles and mixed doubles. This was the second tournament this year at Norberry_Glenlee."

The Pembina Valley was represented at this tournament as Rose Sawatzky of Morden and her partner Barry McKeown took home top place in the mixed doubles category.

Meszaros says the next tournament will be held in Killarney and it's the 55 plus on June 12th.
