Access Credit Union has been named one of Manitoba's top employers for five years running.

President and CEO Larry Davey says staff engagement is key, "they're becoming increasingly focused on where we're going... as a result we have more productive staff, and indicators people are more passionate about their job and eager to improve their abilities."

"At the end of the day, we want happy employees," Davey adds. "We celebrate them and we really appreciate that our people are always working to improve on and provide the best expertise and advice they can to all of our members."

ACU also holds long-service awards for staff and have initiated an employee awards program that allows staff to nominate their colleagues to receive recognition.

ACU includes 18 locations with 260 employees and oversees $2.6 billion in assets under its administration.
