An Altona doctor will remain practicing at the Altona Clinic for a little while longer.
PembinaValleyOnline reported in January that after three years of service at the facility, the administration had asked Dr. Tahseen Mahdi to close out his practice by March 10, 2018
Clinic Manager Artan Fetaht says an agreement has been made with Dr. Mahdi to continue working at the clinic for another 90 days as he transitions out.
Fetaht did not provide any further information behind the reason for the extension.
Over 900 people have signed a petition calling for the clinic administration to rethink its decision asking Dr. Mahdi to leave.
