A 35-year-old Rosetown woman arrested by Winkler police twice in 2016 for methamphetamine trafficking is facing more drug related charges.

Early Monday morning, officers went to the women's residence to conduct a curfew check and ended up witnessing what they believed to be a drug deal in progress between the woman and a 31-year-old female from Morris.

Both suspects were placed under arrest and a significant quantity of methamphetamine was seized, as well as cash, drug trafficking paraphernalia, and a 2013 GMC Terrain.

Kimberly Susanne Ramsey, of Rosetown, has been formally charged with Possess Methamphetamine and two counts of Breach Recognizance. She was remanded in custody and is set to appear in Morden Provincial Court today.

The 31-year-old female from Morris was released on a promise to appear in Morden Provincial Court in September, with drug related charges pending.

Because she has not yet been formally charged, her name will not be released.
