The Photos have been taken, the suits and dresses are ready to be showcased and the tassels will be flipped to signify the completion of High School. 105 students will be graduating from Morden Collegiate Institute Wednesday.

As selected by his peers Finley Wheeler will be the class valedictorian for the class of 2017.

"It's kind of new beginnings for all of us and a big change in our life," said Wheeler. "I want to congratulate everybody on what we've done and everywhere we've been and wish them luck in their journeys as we go our separate ways."

According to Wheeler, this class is a very diverse and very talented group of classmates.

Wheeler stated he'll be heading off to a post-secondary institution to get an engineering degree and noted the rest of the class is heading in a variety of different directions. Many students will be furthering their education in a post-secondary setting, heading into the workforce, taking a year off, and some are taking their athletic careers to the next level.
