Around 8:34 a.m. Morden Police responded to a two-vehicle collision at the intersection of Route 100 and Stephen St. in Morden.

Chief Brad Neduzak said a vehicle traveling eastbound on Stephen St. was unable to stop at a stop sign and slid into the back wheels of a semi's trailer. The semi was traveling southbound on Route 100

"The airbags did go off in the car and the driver of the car received some minor injuries and was released from the scene by paramedics," said Neduzak.

The eastbound vehicle did need to be towed from the scene.

Neduzak would like to remind all motorists to be extra cautious in your travels during the winter as there may be some ice on the roads causing you to not have as much control as you would on dry pavement.
