The Morden Farmer's Market continues to give a front for local vendors to sell products to the residents of the Pembina Valley.

Candace Olafson, the Executive Director of the Chamber of Commerce says they continue to see growth each year as the demand for locally grown food increases.

"The Chamber of Commerce has been organizing the Morden Farmer's Market for many years and we just see it grow a little bit each year," Olafson says. "People really want locally grown fresh stuff and we've got a great variety of vendors at the Morden farmer's market."

Candace adds they typically see more than 20 vendors selling everything from traditional farmer's market produce and vegetables, to homegrown beef, pork, and chicken.

"As well as some fruits during berry season and strawberries... lots of different herbs and a real variety of vegetables," Olafson adds.

The market will be open every Thursday from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., on the corner of Stephen and 8th Street in Morden until October.
