Construction on Highway 75 has wrapped up for the season.

This summer saw the completion of new concrete pavement in the northbound lane of PTH 75 at St. Jean.

Among the improvements made to the traffic artery this summer is the completion of new concrete pavement in the northbound lane at St. Jean, and a detour to be used next summer as work begins to re-align PR 200 at Emerson.

As for next season, the northbound lanes will get some new concrete pavement from the Canada/U.S. Border to PR 243, the northbound and southbound lanes will be re-graded south of Morris, and the northbound lanes will be re-paved from Morris to PR 205

A spokesperson with Manitoba Infrastructure says the total completion of paving Highway 75 northbound lanes is on schedule for fall 2020.

Work will also take place next year on the Kronsgart concrete box culvert.
