PembinaValleyOnline.com received reports Friday of an accident on Highway 23 approximately 7 kilometers east of Morris involving a minivan and a semi. An eyewitness says the semi collided with a dark-coloured Chevy van around 4:00 p.m.
Witnesses claimed nobody was seriously injured in the incident, however, the semi-trailer was hauling a load of pigs at the time, and ended up on its side with many of the hogs runnning into the ditch. There is word some of the pigs died as a result of the collision.
